About the Band

Trivium are a 4-piece Metal band from Orlando, Florida. Their current lineup consists of:

- Matt Heafy - Lead Vocals, Guitar
- Corey Beaulieu - Guitars, Vocals
- Travis Smith - Drums
- Paolo Gregoletto - Bass, Vocals

The band were formed in 2000 after the original singer saw Heafy at a local talent show. A few gigs after Heafy came into Trivium and the original singer left. Heafy took over and over the next couple of years, the band's style improved. 2003 saw the band release their self-financed 7 Track Demo CD. Soon enough, the German record label, Lifeforce, signed Trivium and sent the band to record their first album, entitled Ember to Inferno.

The band underwent many lineups before landing guitarist Corey Beaulieu. Eventually they approached Paolo Gregoletto before their tour with Machine Head. In 2005, the band released their second album Ascendancy, under the Roadrunner Record label, and made a video for single Pull Harder on the Strings of your Martyr.

The band performed at this year's Roadrunner Road Rage Tour, alongside 3 Inches of Blood, Still Remains and The Agony Scene.

Current Band Events

The band are currently in the US, resting up for Ozzfest 2005. They have completed the European and UK Tour, finishing at Download 2005 and the Metal Hammer Awards.

Tuesday June 21st sees the band filming the video for A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation in front of their hometown fans.

July 15th sees the band performing at Ozzfest 2005.

Rules

Joining

There are TWO methods of joining the Community:

1. Send a Note to either the actual group Notebox, or send a note to ArchangelAsura, using a Subject such as "Joining Request".

2. Leave a Comment on the trivium-fans Comments Box. It'd be preferrable if you left a Note rather than Comment but either way is fine.

Joining Policies

1. At trivium-fans, we have a policy to welcome ALL members. If you love Trivium, then you're more than welcome. I'm not going to sit and say you're not welcome just because your favourite song is different from my own.

2. We also won't remove you for not displaying our icon, but if you really do like Trivium then you will! xD

Affiliation

If you wish to Affiliate with the Community, then leave us a note either here, or on ArchangelAsura.

Submitting

If you wish to submit Trivium related artwork, then do the one of the following:

1. Email the work to me at biaxident@rakhama.com

2. Submit it on your Account, and leave us a Note. I'll link to it on this page.

If submitting by Email, make it clear what the Deviation is called and which member you are.

Free Submissions. You can submit anything as long as it is to do with Trivium!
